I mean Valentine’s Day. I used to love it because it meant the day to show people an extra bit of attention. Friends, family, my girlfriend, whomever I felt a spot of love for. But I tell ya, being surrounded (for years) by people that run from the idea of extra sweetness will eventually put a crimp in your style.
Consider me crimped. Bah Humbug. Check back with me next year for a change in my attitude. Meanwhile, I’m going to go out and dance into an anti-Valentines Day frenzy. I’ll be doing choreographed moves, complete with leaps, batons and screeches. I may even land on top of some doe eyed innocent who doesn’t understand interpretive dance.
Happy Anti-Valentines Day to you. *passes out really good chocolates anyway* 🙂

Hi SteadyCat. Take a leap for me please. Happy V-Day baby — that’s only for if you are going solo tonight and don’t ” land on top of some doe eyed innocent who doesn’t understand interpretive dance”.
*laughs* Thanks, Salty. Happy V-Day to you too.

LOL… there are a lot of anti-Valentine’s Day protesters out here. Have a great dance nonetheless.
Thanks. *does extra leap for embrownny*

Steady…
When I read, “I may even land on top of some doe eyed innocent who doesn’t understand interpretive dance.”…I thought I’d fall over laughing!
We were home all day…and the only candy I received was what you sent via a comment on my site 🙂
Bottom line…Valentine’s day is a good day for Hallmark. Although my last name isn’t “Hallmark”…I’m very grateful for a wonderful husband and my friend MS. Steady Cat! (and Jenny, too) 🙂
Michelle
You are so sweet, Michelle. Thanks for coming by and I’m glad I can make you laugh. 🙂

Heehee, you’re so funny.
Not a fan of V-day myself, I spent most of it watching CSI. 😉
Looks like you might have had the most fun. 🙂

Hey! I hadn’t visited your blog in so long and suddenly there were a ton of entries I hadn’t read! x.x So I’ve just gotten through reading all the things you’ve had to say since I last read, which was a lot. I want to say KEEP WRITING and congratulations, and also, WOOT you’re exercising! I can’t even get myself to do that, so I admire your motivation. And my V-Day was horrible. Ugggh, but I’m so glad it’s over. Hope yours was lovely!
I cried during the inauguration, too!
Heeey Chelsea. xxx It really has been awhile. Thanks muchly for your comments above. Did you really read everything? *hands Chelsea a glass of something refreshing* My V-Day dance went well if you like bat out of hell gymnastics. (some people do). Maybe next year you’ll have a better V-Day. If not, you’re welcome to use my interpretive dance routine. 🙂

A friend of mine calls is VD day. Which is funny and to the point!
If we need a day to remind us to be loving to our partners God (not that I believe in her) help us all!
Hello, Pamela. *waves*
